Seedling Growth Performance of Four Forest Species with Different Techniques of Soil Tillage Used in Romanian Nurseries

چکیده
Providing high quality seedlings for use in forestry applications is one of the main challenges faced by forest nurseries, and it depends on practices used such facilities. For instance, controlled experiments have shown that seedling growth affected soils’ physical condition, which turn rather difficult to manipulate equipment used; this raises question whether changing operational procedures could enable better properties seedbeds’ soils, a way they will contribute growth. This study compares two seedbed tillage systems, termed as traditional (T, plowing, disk harrowing cultivation) minimal (M, scarifying rototilling) terms soils growth, accounting variation induced local soil climate conditions (three nurseries) separate factor. The results indicate highly significant gains root collar diameter shoot height four tested species (pedunculate oak, common ash, wild cherry Norway spruce), accounted 16 109% 10 134%, respectively, when using M system. Root volume was pedunculate has also gains, 49 59% instead T. In general, resulted from treatment were found be more homogeneous morphological characteristics, though association dependence between their features poorer. These seem related systems than conditions, no or marginally differences support relation nurseries taken into study. conclusion regular system not only at improving seedlings, but responsivity nurseries.

Extended abstract 1-Introduction Erosion is a geomorphologic and natural process that is always seen across the world, but this process is triggered by human activities, such as road construction, resulting in a significant negative impact on water resources, soil, environment and national economy. According to the above, preventing soil erosion is an important target in the management and...
